Lisdonagh House is an early Georgian Country Manor (circa 1720) of classical proportions in beautiful County Galway in the West of Ireland.

With commanding views over Lough Hackett (a private Lake which forms part of the Estate) and legendary Knochma Mountain, the whole house can be rented exclusively.
Alternatively, guests may choose to enjoy luxurious Country House Bed and Breakfast Accommodation or to rent one of the estate's Self-Catering Apartments.
Whatever your choice, a warm Irish welcome awaits you at Lisdonagh where your hosts, John & Finola Cooke, invite you to share with them, this oasis of tranquillity just 20 minutes from Galway City.
 

Bedrooms
  
Lisdonagh's bedrooms have each been named after a prominent Irish Artist with four suites offering superb lake views. All are individually decorated with period furnishings and have luxurious private bathrooms with shower and/or bathtub.
 
Gourmet Restaurant

We have our own vegetable and herb garden at Lisdonagh House. The finest fish from the locality and prime beef and Connemara lamb (in season). We take great delight in preparing a different menu for guests each evening.

 

Grounds
A magnificent position set amidst 200 acres of woodland and parkland. The fact that there is so much land with the house ensures guests exclusivity and provides wonderful opportunities to go for woodland walks or to ramble around the estate.

 
Location (From Galway)
Take N84 to Headford. In Headford turn right towards Shrule. Continue for 4 miles and turn right for Caherlistrane before you come to Shrule. Lisdonagh House is on the right down a signed road.
