"Tuam Cancer
Care is a voluntary organisation that offers psychological, emotional and
practical support to people with a cancer diagnosis and their families, an
also provides general cancer-related information."
Tuam Cancer Care Group was
founded in 1985 as a support group for people with a cancer diagnosis. Two
years later a fundraising group was set up to enable the group to expand
it's services to all people with cancer in Tuam and the surrounding areas.
To provide a focal point
for the group and provide greater accessibility, in May 2000 Tuam Cancer
Care opened it's (Cillín Aire means Lodge of Care) |
