Voluntary Organisation which helps sick, poor and invalids. Attends local sporting events such as football matches, cycle races and point to point meetings providing first aid. It also provides 24 hour ambulance service.
 
Runs first aid courses for the public.
 

There is also a Cadet Corps for the younger members.
Members competes in Provincial and National first aid competitions.
