Shiven Rovers were one of the first soccer clubs formed in the North Galway/South Roscommon area. The name is taken from the river that runs through the Newbridge / Mountbellew area.

It is located on the Athlone Road from Newbridge village. It caters for teams from Masters (over 35’s men) down to U-8 boys and girls.
